The National Prune Belly Syndrome Network (NPBSN) is a self-help organization dedicated to providing support and information concerning prune belly syndrome, a rare disorder in which partial absence of certain abdominal muscles occurs in association with intestinal, renal, and urogenital abnormalities. Established in 1986, the organization promotes the education of affected individuals, their families, and healthcare professionals by providing reprints of medical journal articles concerning all aspects of prune belly syndrome.
