Restless Legs Syndrome Foundation

The Willis-Ekbom Disease Foundation is a national, non-profit organization dedicated to achieving universal awareness, developing effective treatments, and finding the cure for restless legs syndrome. The goals of the foundation include the development, production, and distribution of medically approved materials for educational purposes and the expansion of awareness of restless legs syndrome by using mass media to inform the general public about this disorder. In addition, the foundation provides networking services for people with restless legs syndrome, their families, and healthcare professionals to share information, assistance, and support. The Willis-Ekbom Disease Foundation supports research and encourages medical and nursing schools to include information on Willis-Ikbom Disease/Restless Legs Syndrome in their curricula.
