This organisation, a UK-registered Charity (and associated web site), dedicated to sufferers of Fanconi Anaemia, provides information about the condition for friends, family members and specialists. It receives regular scientific information from consultants and genetic engineers about the condition and how things are progressing in the search for a cure and improved treatments. It has links to various sites around the world and gives information to families that require support. It maintains a database, which offers the chance for people with FA to talk to other families living close to them (and elsewhere in the world) going through the same experiences. Established in 2010, this voluntary organization provides services that include support groups, networking, education and signposting to other sources of practical and emotional support. Annual FAmily Support weekends allow affected FAmilies to come together in a safe environment to hear presentations from key global FA experts and catch up with other FAmilies.
