The La Chainette is a non-profit rare disease organization based in France. Founded in 2002, La Chainette is a network that uses mainly the Internet as a point of contact for individuals or isolated groups of people directly or indirectly affected by the same rare disease. The goal of this organization is to provide a link, through the web, to patients and families who are isolated or when no organization exists for their disorder.
