The John Douglas French Alzheimer's Foundation (JDFAF) is a voluntary, research organization founded in 1983 to help patient and families affected by Alzheimer's disease, a progressive condition of the brain affecting memory, thought and language. The mission of JDFAF is to provide seed money for promising research and scientists who might not otherwise be funded. It is their objective to support cutting edge research, individually or in a collaborative effort, which can expedite the day when we might delay the onset and advancement, and find a cure for Alzheimer’s.
