The Wellness Community and Gilda's Club joined forces to become the Cancer Support Community (CSC) an international, non-profit organization dedicated to providing free support, education, and hope to people with cancer and their loved ones. Their programs follow the "Patient Active Concept" developed by TWC founder, Dr. Harold Benjamin, which helps people overcome feeling of isolation, loss of control and loss of hope that often accompany a cancer diagnosis.
