The Glanzmann's Research Foundation (GRF) is a voluntary organization whose mission is to promote awareness of and raise funds to support current and future research efforts to develop a cure for Glanzmann’s Thrombasthenia. The GRF also serves as a resource for patients, families and healthcare providers seeking treatment information and emotional support. Glanzmann thrombasthenia (GT) is a rare inherited blood clotting (coagulation) disorder characterized by the impaired function of specialized cells (platelets) that are essential for proper blood clotting.
