The Hageman Foundaton is a 501(c)(3), no-profit organization that provides education, support, patient advocacy and research for people affected by specific types of multiple endocrine neoplasia (MEN). These nclude MEN1, MEN2A, and MEN2B. A surgical procedure called the Whipple Procedure, which may be required as part of the treatment for these multiple endocrine neoplasias, is also detailed on their webpage. Multiple endocrine neoplasia is part of a group of disorders that involve tumors in at least two endocrine glands which have a potential to become malignant (cancerous).
