The Opsoclonus-Myoclonus Syndrome Network (OMS)is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing information and support to parents of children with opsoclonus-myoclonus syndrome. Myoclonus is a neurological movement disorder characterized by sudden, involuntary contractions of a muscle or groups of muscles. Opsoclonus is a condition in which there are nonrhythmic vertical and horizontal movements of the eyes. Established in 1994, the Opsoclonus Myoclonus Syndrome Support Network, Inc., enables parents and families to exchange information, support, and resources.
