The Advocacy Group for the Environmentally Sensitive (AGES) is a voluntary not-for-profit organization dedicated to assuring hypersensitive and allergic individuals acceptance, comprehension, friendship, and assistance toward their condition. Chemical sensitivity is a condition of acute adverse reactions to low levels of chemicals found in homes, schools, workplaces, and other environments. Established in 1986, AGES acts as an advocate in attending to urgent needs such as benefits, insurance, pensions, welfare, and workers compensation. Consisting of 150 members and 4 chapters, AGES provides educational materials including a brochure entitled "AGES," a newsletter, and audio visual aids. Program activities include support groups, advocacy, and education.
