In celebration of\u00a0Rare Disease Day\u00ae<\/b>, NORD will co-sponsor a\u00a0tweetchat\u00a0on the topic of rare diseases with Dr. Richard Besser<\/b>, Chief of the\u00a0ABC\u00a0News Medical\/Health Unit.\u00a0NORD will be live tweeting with Dr. Besser from @rarediseases<\/b><\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0@RareDayUS<\/b><\/a>\u00a0(a Twitter feed dedicated to Rare Disease Day).\u00a0Marsha Lanes<\/b>, MS, CGC, NORD\u2019s Genetic Counselor & Medical Educator, will be providing answers through both Twitter handles.<\/p>\n

Join us! \u00a0The\u00a0tweetchat\u00a0is an opportunity for patients, experts, the rare disease community and the public to come together, ask questions, get answers, and raise important awareness as part of Rare Disease Day.\u00a0We look forward to having you participate as we work together to bring widespread recognition of rare diseases as a public health challenge.<\/p>\n
