NYC, RSDSA is coming back! It’s time for the 2016 Achilles Walk of Hope & Possibility! This event is truly one of a kind! People from all around the globe come together in New York City’s scenic Central Park to work to combat CRPS in solidarity. People with CRPS, their loved ones, and other CRPS supporters come together to network, support one and other, and give each other the hope that is essential for each and every one of us. We walk, crutch, cane, and roll to the finish line as a unit, raising awareness for CRPS. For so many people, this walk is the first time they are meeting others that can relate to them. That in itself is invaluable. We welcome new walkers and veteran walkers alike.
Virtual Walkers, we need you as too! Our goal is to get at least one person in 50 states walking to raise awareness this year. Whether you take a stroll around your neighborhood, walk a lap in your local mall or organize a team to walk through a local park, we want you as a part of Team RSDSA! We will be keeping track of where our virtual walkers are from on a map that will be updated frequently. This is a great way to get your friends and family from other states involved with RSDSA and raising CRPS awareness.
Team RSDSA participates in Achilles Walk for Hope & Possibility to provide support, education, and hope for everyone affected by the pain and disability of CRPS/RSD while we drive research to provide more effective treatment options and cure.
Approximately 50,000 new cases of CRPS occur each year, yet most individuals are not familiar with the syndrome. Your contribution supports RSDSA’s mission. Together we can make a difference one step at a time.
This is not a NORD sponsored event. This event is being hosted by a NORD member organization.
