NORD’s regional membership meetings are designed to help you meet, network, learn and share best practices with leaders of other patient organizations in your geographic area. They provide capacity building training and community updates, encourage knowledge sharing, and foster collaboration that can continue throughout the year. These meetings are an opportunity to create meaningful connections and facilitate relationships to benefit all within our network.
The National Organization for Rare Disorders invites all patient organizations to participate in the Southeast Regional Membership Meeting, being held on April 30-May 1, 2015, in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. This is a free meeting that will give members and non-members the opportunity to connect, learn, and share with other patient organization leaders and is hosted at no cost to participants. We will be touching upon topics of importance to the community, as well as providing panel sessions and expert guidance in the areas of need reported to NORD by its members in the most recent Membership Survey.
This event will begin with a welcome reception on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at 7:00 pm. The meeting will take place on Friday, May 1, 2015 beginning with breakfast at 9:00 am. The meeting will conclude at approximately 4:00 pm. A formal agenda will be released closer to the event date.
