The Castleman Disease Collaborative Network is on a Quest for a Cure for Castleman disease and hope to create a roadmap for curing many more diseases! Please join physicians, patients, loved ones, and Philadelphia community members for the Castleman Disease Collaborative Network’s (CDCN) “Quest for a Cure: A Gala for Castleman disease.” Event details:
This year the Quest for a Cure Gala will coincide with the annual CDCN Patient & Loved Ones Summit. This summit is for patients and loved ones from around the world to connect with one another and learn about their disease, recent research, and ways to join the fight to advance treatment and a cure for Castleman disease (CD). On that Friday night, the Philadelphia and CD communities will join together to raise funding and awareness to advance the CDCN’s mission of accelerating research and treatment for CD to improve survival for patients around the world. The CDCN’s innovative approach has become a model for rare disease research: facilitating global collaboration, crowdsourcing among the community to prioritize research, investing in high-impact research, and keeping patients and loved ones at the heart of everything we do.
We are on a Quest for a Cure for Castleman disease! Castleman disease is as common as ALS, affects individuals of all ages, and two of the three subtypes are more deadly than lymphoma because it is so poorly understood. Simply, it is the most-deadly, most-common disease that you’ve never heard of. Help us change that! Please join patients, loved ones, and Philadelphia community members for the second annual Castleman Disease Collaborative Network’s Quest for a Cure: A Gala for Castleman Disease.
