The rare disease community must have a strong voice in our government, in every state across the country! Please join the National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD®) for a virtual meeting on Project RDAC, an initiative designed to both optimize the efforts of states that have passed Rare Disease Advisory Council (RDAC) legislation and to enable all states to someday create high-functioning RDACs.
The stakeholders meeting will feature two expert panels and learning sessions, on coalition building and operationalizing new RDACs and on the important work being done by existing RDACs. This meeting will be a springboard for legislative action in 2022, helping to guide efforts to enact new RDACs and strengthen existing RDACs across the country.
RDACs can have profoundly positive impacts for the over 25 million Americans living with a rare disorder. Everyone in the rare disease community, including members of existing RDACs and advocates from states still working to enact an RDAC are invited to participate!
