Individual Creates a Charity Art Book to Support NORD

Over 70 artists contributed to COLORS, a charity art book created and sold specifically to raise money for NORD’s mission.

NORD would like to highlight the tremendous efforts and generosity of all of those involved in the coordination, production, and design of COLORS, a charity art book created and sold specifically to raise money for NORD’s mission. The project’s coordinator, Katie Ryan of Lockport, Illinois, began this labor of love in 2009 with the intention of bringing together artists from across the globe to create this phenomenal collaborative project in the name of all of those affected by rare diseases.  It took Katie a year and a half to get the project to print, but with seventy artists collaborating on the project their sales were quickly able to pay the full expenses of the printing and then some! The project accumulated an additional and incredible $2,000.00 which Katie and her team generously donated to NORD.

There are still copies remaining! All proceeds from the art book’s sale continue to go to NORD. If you are interested in purchasing a copy of COLORS, please follow the link: http://www.lithe-apathy.com/colors_artbook/.

NORD is so thankful to have such creative, inspired, and caring donors!
