About Children’s Heart Society

The Children’s Heart Society (CHS) is a private, non-profit organization in Canada that is dedicated to supporting families of children with heart disease. The society’s goals include ensuring the best possible care for children affected by heart disease, improving the quality of life of affected children and their families, educating the public about heart disease in children and their special needs, and working toward the day when no child will die from heart disease. To help fulfill its mission and goals, the Children’s Heart Society conducts regular parent support meetings, holds family activities including an annual camping trip, ski trip, and summer picnic. The Children’s Heart Society also has a lending library.
