Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders Center for Excellence

The mission of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration SAMHSA – Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders FASD Center for Excellence is to facilitate the development and improvement of prevention, treatment, and care systems in the US by providing national leadership and facilitating collaboration in the field. Specific goals include to reduce the number of cases of fetal alcohol syndrome disorders, increase functioning of those affected, and improve the qualify of life for individuals and families affected by these disorders.
