GeneTests

The GeneTests-GeneClinics, a web site funded by the National Library of Medicine, is a medical genetics information resource developed for physicians, other healthcare providers, and researchers, available at no cost to all interested persons. Funding sources include the National Library of Medicine and the National Human Genome Research Institute at the National Institutes of Health, Health Resources and Services Administration, and the US Department of Energy. The site includes: GeneReviews, an online publication of expert-authored disease reviews; Laboratory Directory, an international directory of genetic testing laboratories; clinic directory, an international directory of genetics and prenatal diagnosis clinics; and educational materials including an illustrated glossary, information about genetic services and teaching tools.
