About INADcure Foundation
The INADcure Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, EIN 81-4763783, whose mission is to support the development of treatments, including a cure, for Infantile Neuroaxonal Dystrophy (INAD) and other forms of PLA2G6-related neurodegeneration (PLAN).
It is estimated that only 150 – 250 children are living with INAD worldwide. Currently, there is no cure, and there are no effective treatments to slow or stop the progression of the disease. The INADcure Foundation is working to change that. Our mission is to raise funds to support the development of treatments and advance a cure for INAD. We collaborate with scientific advisors to identify the most promising INAD research projects for funding. We are tirelessly forging partnerships with academic institutions, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical companies to accelerate the development of new treatments. In addition, we educate the public about INAD and other forms of PLA2G6-related neurodegeneration, advocate for improved access to treatment, and provide support to the families and caregivers of children diagnosed with INAD around the world.
