International Alliance of ALS/MND Associations

About International Alliance of ALS/MND Associations

The International Alliance of ALS/MND Associations was founded in November 1992 to provide a forum for support and the exchange of information among the worldwide associations. More than 50 national patient support and advocacy groups from over 40 countries worldwide have joined together to form this international alliance. Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or motor neurone disease, is a muscle wasting condition, which affects individuals and those who care for them across the world. To help people with the disease, groups of people have come together to form associations.
