The Department�s mission is to improve the safety and health of individuals, families and communities by providing leadership and establishing and participating in partnerships. Each year, more than 2.2 million children, families, vulnerable adults and seniors come to us for protection, comfort, food assistance, financial aid, medical and behavioral health care and other services.
