Description

The International Advocate For Glycoprotein Storage Diseases (ISMRD) is a 501(c)(3) organization based in the United States and a leading advocate for families worldwide affected by glycoprotein and related storage diseases. Through partnerships built with medicine, science and industry, it seeks to detect and cure these diseases, and to provide a network of support and information. Its mission is to advocate for people whose lives are affected by diseases that include alpha and beta mannosidosis, aspartylglucosaminuria, fucosidosis, galactosialidosis, Schindler disease, and mucolipidosis I and II.
