Description

Our Vision is a world without lymphatic disease and lymphedema.

Our Mission is to fight lymphatic disease and lymphedema through education, research and advocacy.
We seek to accelerate the prevention, treatment and cure of the disease while bringing patients and medical professionals together to address the unmet needs surrounding lymphatic disorders.

Our Values
• Empathetic
• Care-oriented
• Research focused
• Evidenced based
• Community connected
• Restless knowledge seekers

Since 1998, the Lymphatic Education & Research Network (formerly LRF) has been looking for answers for the millions of people who suffer from lymphedema and lymphatic disease. LE&RN fosters and supports research that can deepen the medical community's understanding of the lymphatic system, which is vital to the health of every individual.

Unraveling the mysteries of the lymphatic system is critical to understanding many other disease processes. As an integral part of the immune system, the lymphatic system is the body's surveillance against cancer, and it can provide pathways for cancer to metastasize. It plays a role in inflammatory and auto-immune disorders such as arthritis and systemic lupus, and is key to understanding the spread of AIDS and many infections. LE&RN fosters and supports research to discover the links between lymphatic function, diseases, and levels of wellness.
