As a physical therapist working with people with bleeding disorders from all around the state of North Carolina, telehealth has been an invaluable resource for follow-up visits, acute needs and treatments as needed. With it, patient care and outcomes have improved We must make telehealth a tool that can be used, when appropriate, for all patients. It should never replace in person care but be used as an adjunct.
