As a parent with a young man with Addison’s, having a telehealth option has become a necessity. As is true with others with rare conditions, telehealth makes finding a doctor that knows Addison’s an option – geography should not dictate care anymore. In addition to that, our son can be more susceptible to illness in an office, and telehealth visits can keep him safe in times where infection rates are high from the flu or other viruses.
