During the event, advocates will have the opportunity to network with other rare disease patients, caregivers and other health care advocates. In addition, individuals will visit the Executive Office of the Governor to pick up the Rare Disease Day proclamation signed by Douglas A. Ducey. The group will attend the opening session of the afternoon meetings of the Arizona State Legislature to receive formal recognition as rare disease advocates in the Arizona House of Representatives and Arizona State Senate.
