The Engle Laboratory is a genetics research lab that is focused on identifying and understanding the genes involved in pediatric eye movement disorders, specifically congenital fibrosis of the extraocular muscles (CFEOM), congenital ptosis, and Duane syndrome. It is a not-for-profit research organization, providing services that include genetic counseling and publication of a newsletter. Established in 1992, the lab serves patients and families from around the world. It is based at Children�s Hospital in Boston.
