National Organization for Disorders of the Corpus Callosum

The National Organization of Disorders of the Corpus Callosum (NODCC) is a voluntary organization whose mission is to enhance the quality of life for individuals with disorders of the corpus callosum and to raise awareness, understanding and acceptance through education, advocacy, networking and facilitation of research efforts. Agenesis of the corpus callosum (ACC) is a rare abnormality of the brain structure, present at birth, characterized by the partial or complete absence (agenesis) of the bridge connecting the right and left sides of the brain (corpus callosum).
