Spinal CSF Leak Foundation

About Spinal CSF Leak Foundation
The Spinal CSF Leak Foundation was established in 2014 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization by individuals directly affected by spinal cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) leak and intracranial hypotension. Rooted in lived experience, our mission is to close gaps in understanding, improve access to knowledgeable care, and advance meaningful progress for all those impacted by this condition.
We work to raise awareness, educate both medical professionals and the public, and support research efforts that lead to earlier diagnosis and better outcomes. Through comprehensive educational resources, patient-centered programming, professional collaborations, and community engagement, we aim to reduce diagnostic delays and promote timely, appropriate testing and treatments.
Our ultimate goal is to ensure that every person affected by intracranial hypotension or spinal CSF leak receives accurate diagnosis, effective care, and an improved quality of life.
