The American Behcet’s Disease Association (ABDA) is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by Behçet’s Disease while advancing awareness, education, and research. We connect patients with reliable information, community support, and resources to help them navigate diagnosis, treatment, and daily life. ABDA also collaborates with clinicians, researchers, and partner organizations to improve understanding of Behçet’s Disease and expand access to expert care. Through educational programs, advocacy, research partnerships, and community fundraising, we work toward better outcomes. Behçet’s Disease (also called Behçet’s syndrome) is a rare, chronic, relapsing inflammatory disorder that may cause recurrent mouth ulcers, genital ulcers, eye inflammation, skin rashes, and involvement of other organs.
