About Cystic Fibrosis Research Institute
Cystic Fibrosis Research Institute (CFRI) is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization founded in 1975. The mission of the Cystic Fibrosis Research Institute is to be a global resource for the cystic fibrosis (CF) community while pursuing a cure through research, education, advocacy, and support. Our vision is to find a cure for cystic fibrosis while enhancing quality of life for the CF community.
CFRI funds CF research at universities and medical facilities throughout the United States. Our investment in new ideas has led to significant breakthroughs that bring us closer to a cure.
CFRI provides vital educational resources to a diverse CF community, including conferences, podcasts, online programming, and informational publications that are distributed around the globe. CFRI supports and connects our community through retreats, mental health programs, and community events. We provide information and resources.
We raise awareness of the disease and the diversity of our cystic fibrosis community, while advocating for access to therapies and care so as to improve the quality of life for those living with this challenging disease.
