Maddie’s Spark Foundation is a parent-founded 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing rare disease research, supporting families affected by Very Long-Chain Acyl-CoA Dehydrogenase (VLCAD) deficiency, and improving patient outcomes through innovation, education, and advocacy. Our mission is to accelerate the development of transformative research and medical technologies while empowering families with resources, connections, and support throughout their rare disease journey. By fostering collaboration among researchers, clinicians, healthcare institutions, and the rare disease community, we strive to advance scientific progress, raise awareness, and help create a brighter future for individuals living with VLCAD and other long chain fatty acid oxidation disorders.
