About the Rare Cancer Coalition: In 2017, NORD founded a special Rare Cancer Coalition (RCC) to form a close knit, multi-stakeholder community focused on raising awareness and providing education about rare cancers, as well as strengthening the support community for rare cancer patients and caregivers. Today NORD’s Rare Cancer Coalition is comprised of 30 different patient organizations representing more than 50 types of rare cancers.
About NORD’s Summit: The annual NORD Summit, held in Washington, DC on October 21-22, is the largest and most meaningful multi-stakeholder event of its kind, historically featuring over 900 participants, 20 speakers from the FDA, participation from over 80 patient organizations and the Pharm/Bio industry’s foremost experts in orphan drug product innovation, investment, and commercialization.
