Rare Disease Day 2025 at the University of Minnesota

Since 2008 the Center for Orphan Drug Research and the Stem Cell Institute at the University of Minnesota have co-sponsored a Rare Disease Day program in conjunction with the international Rare Disease Day. Our event is intended for both university and community attendees including patients, families, patient advocacy organizations, health care providers, health care organizations, biomedical companies, and other interested parties. This year’s program is titled “Navigating Rare Disorders: Insights from Lived Experience.” The program will feature 3 speakers and 4 panelists who will highlight the challenges and approaches to address these challenges from patient/family, social/economic, and psychological perspectives.
