About American Council of the Blind
The American Council of the Blind (ACB) is a national non-profit health organization dedicated to providing advocacy services on behalf of children with visual impairments or blindness to ensure that they receive appropriate public education. Established in the late 1970s, the ACB provides information and appropriate referrals to affected families. Educational materials include a regular newsletter, audiovisual aids, and comprehensive brochures on a variety of visual impairments.
