The CJD Aware! is dedicated to sharing information and networking to raise awareness of this rare and devastating disease. The organization is involved in education as well as fundraising to enable researchers to continue their search for a cure. CJD (Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease) is an extremely rare degenerative brain disorder characterized by sudden development of rapidly progressive neurological and neuromuscular symptoms.
