About Division of Genetics at Georgetown University Medical Center
The Division of Genetics, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Georgetown University Medical Center is a clinical facility dedicated to the support and treatment of children and adults who have a genetic disorder or who may be carriers for a genetic disorder. Established in 1968, the Center has approximately 25 facility members who are available to evaluate patients. Genetic counseling and cytogenetic testing are also available at the Center. In addition, the Center is interested in informing and educating affected individuals and families about the exact nature of genetic diseases and treatment options.
