About National Breast Cancer Coalition

The National Breast Cancer Coalition (NBCC) is a non-profit voluntary organization dedicated to working to eradicate breast cancer, the most common form of cancer among females in the United States. The Coalition achieves its goals by focusing national attention on breast cancer and involving all those concerned about this disease as advocates for action, advances and changes. The Coalition informs, supports, and directs affected individuals and concerned others in knowledgeable and effective advocacy efforts. Nationwide, members are bringing about meaningful progress in breast cancer policy through legislative and regulatory input, promotion of media coverage, and participation in activities such as marches and campaigns. Coalition members include cancer support, information, and service groups, as well as womens, consumer health, and provider organizations. Thousands of individuals are members of the Coalitions National Action Network.
