NORD is glad to have been able to assist you in accessing care and treatment for your rare disorder in 2019. If you need continued assistance in 2020, it’s time to re-enroll. Programs will be opening on a rolling basis. Please look out for re-enrollment communications in your email and mail this month and in coming months as we prepare for 2020.
Did you know that November is National Family Caregivers Month?
This annual observance is a time to recognize family caregivers for their selfless devotion and dedication to supporting loved ones. In November we are highlighting NORD’s Rare Caregiver Respite Program, a first-of-its-kind assistance program providing caregivers of rare disease patients with the opportunity for a much-needed respite. NORD designed this program for caregivers (parent, spouse, family member or significant other) of a child or adult diagnosed with a rare disorder because we know that caring for a loved one is a generous gift that demands significant time, attention and patience. We are gratified to provide financial assistance to enable qualifying caregivers to take a well-deserved break. To learn more, please click here.
