Lymphedema Education & Awareness Project
About Lymphedema Education & Awareness Project
The Lymphedema Education & Awareness Project (LEAP) is an all-volunteer organization composed of patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals. Lymphedema is vastly under-recognized, even within the medical community, and consequently patients frequently suffer from delayed diagnosis and difficulty obtaining treatment. LEAP’s mission is to improve access to care for this underserved patient population through lymphedema education and awareness initiatives.
