National Headache Foundation

The National Headache Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving as resource to affected individuals, their families, and the physicians who treat them. The organization is also committed to promoting research into the causes of, and treatments for, headaches as well as increasing awareness among the public concerning the seriousness of headaches and the need for understanding and continuity of care for affected individuals. The National Headache Foundation funds ongoing medical research; sponsors public and professional education seminars across the country; and has a nationwide network of local support groups. In addition, the foundation, which functions as a clearinghouse of information on headaches, provides a bimonthly newsletter, brochures, and audiotapes and videotapes. Some materials are available in Spanish.
