Janet Woodcock, MD served as Acting Commissioner of the US Food and Drug Administration from January 2021 to February 2022 and as Principal Deputy Commissioner from February 2022 to February 2024. Prior to that time, she served as Director of FDA’s Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER).
