A Foundation Building Strength’s mission is to find treatments for Nemaline Myopathy (NM). AFBS works to address issues for our NM families from all angles, including advancing research, providing information about care, offering family support groups and ways to connect, and creating opportunities for in-person interaction and education at conferences.

Our vision is to be the driving force behind groundbreaking research and effective treatments for Nemaline Myopathy (NM), while providing vital support and resources to individuals and families affected by the disease.We are building a united global community of researchers, clinicians, and advocates dedicated to accelerating progress, improving care, and empowering the NM community
