Benefits in Action

Founded in 2015, Benefits in Action is a nonprofit dedicated to helping individuals and families access the public benefits and community resources they need to thrive. Benefits in Action provides expert, compassionate assistance with complex benefit programs—including Medicaid, Medicare, SNAP, and Social Security Disability Insurance—helping people overcome barriers to care, improve economic stability, and build healthier futures. Our Social Security Disability Insurance and Supplemental Security Income program offers free application and appeals support to hundreds of people and families across the U.S. annually.
