About Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation

The Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation (CCF) is a global organization with the mission of finding a cure for cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer) and improving the quality of life for patients. CCF pursues innovative methodologies, technologies, and partnerships to drive education, support programs, research, and funding strategies. The Foundation supports patients and their caregivers by connecting them to resources, mentors, CCF support groups, and informational webinars. CCF provides information to equip patients and their caregivers to navigate their treatment journey alongside their healthcare providers. The Foundation also founded and participates in the International Cholangiocarcinoma Research Network, a global collaboration of research groups from renowned institutions working in concert to improve knowledge about cholangiocarcinoma etiology, prevention, early detection, treatment, and prognosis. The network includes trained experts from various disciplines, perspectives, and research methods who share a passion for making significant scientific advances to improve outcomes for patients with cholangiocarcinoma. CCF pioneered and maintains a robust program to support innovative scientific discovery through a research fellowship program with annual new awards to qualified researchers.
