About CureLGMD2i Foundation
The CureLGMD2i Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, was founded in 2011 by the Brazzo family when their daughter was diagnosed with Limb Girdle Muscular Dystrophy Type 2I/R9 (LGMD2I/R9). Their mission was to provide funding toward the development of a safe and effective treatment for LGMD2I/R9.
CureLGMD2i is focused on providing advocacy, spreading awareness and supporting scientific research toward a cure for LGMD2I/R9. To date, CureLGMD2i has supported over $1,300,000 in drug development, conferences and advocacy programs for this ultra rare and progressive neuromuscular disease.
