About European Alliance of Neuromuscular Disorders Associations
The European Alliance of Neuromuscular Disorders Associations, formerly the European Alliance of Muscular Dystrophy Associations, (EAMDA) is a non-profit organization that serves as an information network, providing advice about neuromuscular conditions and offering information, support, and resources to its member organizations and families, caregivers, and professionals throughout Europe. It includes a Youth Organization that is made up of delegates who represent the young people in their own national associations, addressing issues related to quality of life, self-image, and medical intervention. The EAMDA also offers a variety of educational materials including fact sheets on neuromuscular disorders such as muscular dystrophy, a regular newsletter, and several additional publications.
