The Garrod Association of Canada is a group of health professionals from Canadian metabolic centers dedicated to the diagnosis, management, and prevention of hereditary metabolic diseases. This voluntary, professional organization serves health professionals in Canada with activities related to research and education. It promotes the exchange of information among metabolic centers, the advancement of knowledge through scientific meetings, the development of guidelines for research and treatment, and the widespread application of recent advances in scientific knowledge.
