About International Standards for Cytogenomic Arrays Consortium
The ISCA Consortium is a non-profit resource for all families affected by rare chromosome disorders, particularly those with microdeletions or microduplications diagnosed by cytogenomic microarray technologies. The ISCA database contains whole genome array data from a subset of the ISCA Consortium clinical diagnostic laboratories. Array analysis was carried out on individuals with phenotypes including intellectual disability, autism, and developmental delay. A genetic counselor is available to assist families in searching this database to determine if there have been other cases reported with similar array findings and to provide generalized phenotypic information about such cases if available. The ISCA Consortium also alerts member laboratories as research opportunities arise, allowing member laboratories to initiate the process of recontacting eligible patients as appropriate.
